This personal project is a light-hearted look at the extremes to which we will go in pursuit of a high gloss version of ourselves.

With the advent of social media, it’s never been easier to make comparisons between the lives of others and our own. Increasingly we are pressured to believe that images of ourselves and our lives should appear to be perfect.

This series questions the unattainable expectations placed on women, particularly when the image has been manipulated in post production.

With comedy duo, Abigail Dooley and Emma Edwards we explore an alternative way of producing glossy, high fashion images by way of early intervention (with tape).
